Hatha practice is the basis of all modern styles of asana practice (physical postures). Hatha integrates breath-work with traditional yoga postures to promote a strong mind-body connection. We focus on mindful alignment while moving into and out of our balances, postures, and stretches. Hatha yoga is excellent for increasing flexibility, strengthening the muscles and calming the mind.Class will be taught to those wanting to explore more advanced postures and actively progress in their practice. Advanced postures will be taught in "layers" allowing the student to build the posture to their desired level of intensity.
